Desainpedia: Jurnal Desain Produk dan Desain Komunikasi Visual is a Journal of Product Design Department and Visual Communication Design Department of Universitas Pembangunan Jaya publishes articles annually. We invite scholars, researchers, and academics to publish research results for three thematic special issues on Design, Lifestyle and Behavior. Other papers that fit the theme of this particular issue are welcome. Papers written in Indonesia or English are very welcome. Acceptance of articles can be based on:

1. Results of empirical research (survey, case studies, experiment, archival analysis, design, and historical approaches),
2. Results of theoretical studies aimed at advancing existing theories, adapting theories to a local situation, or proposing new concepts,
3. The theoretical finding to investigate and synthesize theories,
4. Research results from science, engineering, and community service in concepts, prototypes, or ready products for the markets,
5. Specially the scopes of the Journal include, but are not limited to, the following fields:

• Product design and materials,
• Design and arts,
• Visual communication design,
• Design and multimedia,
• Design and branding concepts,
• Design and culture,
